And its tearing me apart

Why did you do this..

You’re breaking my heart.

Asked you to tell me..

To tell me no lie

But now you keep secrets

Can you just tell me why?

When you first appeared

And came into my life

I thought we'd grow together

and soon be man and wife.

I want to know you need me

To know that you care

But I get no phone calls

Its like you aren’t even there.

You said those words

I wanted to hear

Filled me with dreams

For the on coming year.

Now its all over

I still don’t know why

Won’t give you the delight

Of making me cry.

Just tell me why you did this

And let me move on

And I will not write you

Or call on the phone.

Should I say thanks

For the moments we shared

Or be mad at you

For saying you cared?

There is no excuse

After all that I put up with

Take your promises and throw them away

I’m sorry I refuse to stay

It hurts; it hurts so bad that I cannot breathe

But it’ll hurt more to stay then if I were to leave

So goodbye is all I can say

Another wasted relationship, another wasted day

You say that you left everything for me

I still can't get over your message,

it just keeps coming back to me

At times I'm feeling okay

but then it will hit me again

and I will start feeling sad&low

You told me to find somebody else,

since you'll just hurt me

After what you have shown me,

you want me to just walk away

It feels really awful

I thought we shared something special,

yet its just so easy for you

to cut me off just like that

I know in time I'll be okay,

its not anytime soon

but eventually I'll get there

and when I finally do,

I hope I can smile, look straight in your eyes,

and say "thank you, I'm over you".

He is friend.
